WGI Westman Group Inc. ("WGI") Purchases the Assets and Operations of Aqua Q

On December 14, 2018, WGI Westman Group Inc. (“WGI”) purchased the assets and operations of Aqua Q, formerly known as The Plastic Drainage Division of Armtec. The purchase included all five of the Aqua Q manufacturing facilities which are located in Woodstock, Orangeville, and Walkerton in Ontario, St. Clet, Quebec, and Prince George, British Columbia, as well as all existing distribution yards of Aqua Q.
Aqua Q is being combined with the Armtec-Canada Culvert Drainage Division of WGI. Going forward Aqua Q will operate under the name Armtec-Canada Culvert.

WGI was founded in 1975 in Winnipeg, Manitoba by Russ Edwards with six employees using well-worn equipment to make riveted steel culverts. In 43 years WGI has grown to include Behlen Industries, Meridian Manufacturing, Westman Steel, Armtec-Canada Culvert, Convey-All Industries, Artspan, and U-Build Steel Buildings.
