TIMBER MART Appoints New Vice-President, Commercial Division

In light of TIMBER MART’s Vice-President of Commercial, Mark Finucane, retiring this year, the group has appointed a new vice-president to ensure a smooth transition. Effective March 1, 2022, David Rapini will assume the role of Vice-President, Commercial Division, and be responsible for leading and managing TIMBER MART’s commercial arm.
“David will be responsible for providing direction on the group’s buying programs and services that support our commercial membership’s competitive advantage and business growth,” says Bernie Owens, TIMBER MART’s president & CEO. “We welcome David to the TIMBER MART team and look forward to seeing our commercial members across Canada, benefit from his spirited leadership and years of experience in our industry.”
Mr. Rapini has 15 years of progressive experience in the building materials industry – most of which he’s gained by working for CGC Inc. in various sales and commercial management positions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Economics from the University of Waterloo and an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
As a member of TIMBER MART’s senior leadership team, Mr. Rapini will report directly to TIMBER MART’s President and CEO, Bernie Owens and be based out of the group’s Vaughan, Ont. office.
