Castle 61st Annual General Meeting Draws Record Attendance to Las Vegas

Castle’s 61st Annual General Meeting held at the award-winning JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa in early April was a huge success with close to 500 Shareholders, Vendor Partners, castle staff and their families in attendance.

The Castle AGM continues to grow each year with a format designed to encourage interaction and engagement for all guests, as the enjoy an educational and relaxing event in the company of colleagues, family, and friends.

This year, Castle AGM attendees experienced a first class 4-day event with the opportunity enjoy spectacular daytime and evening events complete with gourmet meals and live entertainment. Off-property, attendees experienced exclusive private events and excursions, as well as the opportunity to Golf at the TPC Las Vegas Golf Course. The industry-leading business sessions provided thought-provoking presentations from the highly anticipated guest speakers Ron Tite and Mark Matthews,

The Farewell Evening Gala was a blast from past, with a Sands Hotel themed party, complete with the Jubilee Vegas Showgirls. Following an unforgettable keynote from Dr. Haley Wickenheiser, guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner and music and theatrics of the “Rat Pack is Back”. The group also recognized Castle members from across Canada in an awards presentation and handed out their 2023 Vendor Excellence Awards where a selection of Vendor Partners were acknowledged for their exceptional performance and commitment to building a strong relationship with Castle members across Canada.

The Castle Annual General Meeting is considered the premier event in of the building supply industry and Castle looks forward to hosting another memorable event in 2025.

 

Castle Grows Again in Ontario

Castle’s exponential growth continues across Canada with a new member location in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. O'Connor Hardware is the latest independent retailer to join the Castle group.

O’Connor’s Hardware was established in 1996 and is situated just outside of Orillia. The multifaceted retail facility has established itself as the community go-to destination for all things related to building material and agricultural needs. Owners Brent Johnston and Sarah Johnston did their homework before making the decision to join Castle.
