Beverley Edey, a trailblazer in the home improvement industry, accepted her LBMAO Industry Achievement Award at the Association's 98th Annual General Meeting Gala Dinner while surrounded by family and industry friends on December 3, 2015.
Bev has always been a strong supporter of the LBMAO and has served on several committees; enjoying the distinction of being the Association’s first female Director. She has retired from retail but is now enjoying her new role as "grandmother extraordinaire."
We congratulate Bev on this recognition and for being brave enough to venture into that male dominated building material industry! There are many up and coming women in this industry who have profited from the examples of women trailblazers of the 70’s and 80’s.
