Castle Continues To Grow Out West

Castle announced today that independent retailer, VP Resources, has joined the group.

Located in Invermere, British Columbia, owners Bryan and Lauren Kroker have resided and operated their business in the Eastern Columbia Valley, BC region for over a decade. Their hard work has earned them a reputation for stellar customer service and a strong connection to the community. When they decided to expand their enterprise to include a home improvement retail store and lumberyard, they needed a buying group they could partner with, and Castle was the clear choice.

“We knew instantly that Castle was the right fit for us given their focus on the independent retailer. Castle allows us to maintain the footprint we have established in our community, all while being part of a buying group that’s committed to helping us grow along the way.” Bryan Kroker, Partner

The husband-and-wife duo have established a retail storefront in downtown Invermere along with a large lumber yard including multiple buildings for inventory storage and drive-thru access. They plan to build a brand-new store in this location, while focussing on servicing the Invermere and surrounding area home builder, and contractor market. The team is excited for the future store design and plan on a grand opening to showcase a complete Lumber, Building Materials and Hardware product offering.

““Like many independents, VP Resources has spent years cultivating their own identity and personal brand. At Castle we understand that You Are The Brand and partner with our members to provide support, and the tools they need to be successful, without interference. We would like to welcome Bryan and Lauren to the Castle family.” Ken Jenkins, President & CEO
