A meaningful mission that has a tangible impact
This recognition highlights the RONA Foundation’s commitment to hundreds of organizations across Canada. Last year, for its 25th anniversary, the RONA Foundation redefined its mission to be aligned with RONA’s purpose. Today, the Foundation seeks to help improve the quality of life of Canadians in need by revitalizing their living environments and making it easier to access housing. In particular, it aims to help victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families, and people with special needs or mental health issues. The generous contributions of the RONA Foundation have a significant impact on a national scale. In 2023, the RONA Foundation donated over $3.2 million to communities where RONA operates. It has helped improve living environments in different regions and provinces across Canada through various initiatives, whether by offering financial support for renovation projects or by providing materials to organizations such as shelters for victims of domestic violence, organizations that build homes for low-income families, or mental health institutions.
