CAF/Skills Canada regional roundtable

Take time to network with fellow members of Canada's apprenticeship and skilled trades community over breakfast, learn from an employer panel, educator presentations and share your ideas in a roundtable discussion.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Hear about what skills employers and trainers are looking for when hiring apprentices and tradespeople.
• Learn about Skills/Compétences Canada's Essential Skills Work-Ready Youth Program.
• Discover the tools and resources educators are using to support young people on their path to trade certification.
• Discuss priority competency areas for apprentice success, identify gaps in youth-readiness and suggest additional supports required to encourage youth in skilled trades careers.
