Please be advised that the proposed amendment below will be subject to approval at the upcoming MCAC Annual General Meeting that will take place on Saturday, October 5 at 11:45 a.m. in Nashville, Tennessee.
Motion:
That the following provision be inserted in the MCAC By-Laws under section 9.7 Voting Class/Entitlement to Hold Office:
Being an MCAC member in good standing, the Chair of the Women in Mechanical Construction Committee, or her designate, be entitled to attend the general meeting of the Association or any committee thereof and shall have the right to chair or serve on committees or advisory bodies and serve on the Board of Directors as a member.
