On August 16, current Secretary and Treasurer of MCAC David Holek was celebrated for his two-year term as President and Chair of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada. Dave’s tenure as Chair was certainly unique and was re-elected for a second term in December of 2020 to continue in the role for an additional year. However, even with a second term, Dave’s first in-person speech didn’t come until September 2021 at our annual golf tournament.
Dave is often fond of saying, "every day is an adventure.” So, it seems only fitting that his tenure as Chair can be described as an adventurous one. His dedication to this industry is so valuable, as well as his understanding of the various challenges being faced at the local, provincial, and national level.
