At its Annual National Conference being in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada and its provincial partners announced more than $100,000 to Hurricane Fiona Relief through the Canadian Red Cross.
"Extreme weather events such as Hurricane Fiona will have a significant impact on our infrastructure and those affected for years to come,” said Wayne Davidson, President, and Chair of MCA Canada. "Our industry has stepped up in the past to help our fellow Canadians, and it was particularly important to us as we hold our annual conference in the maritime region.”
The Canadian Red Cross has established an online portal for MCA Canada members who would like to donate to the Hurricane Fiona Relief Fund. Through that portal, individuals and firms can make a contribution to this fund and support these funding efforts.
