At the upcoming MCAC Conference on Innovation, Corey Diamond will be exploring what the future holds regarding energy efficiency. As energy efficiency becomes increasingly important to governments at all levels, the construction industry and, specifically, the mechanical contracting industry, will have an increasingly important role to play. This address from Efficiency Canada will look at the field of energy efficiency and where it is heading, while providing insight into how the mechanical contracting industry can become an industry of choice to address the challenges we will face.
Corey has more than two decades of experience leading social change organizations focused on engaging people to take action on critical environmental and social issues. He also spent 10 years helping to lead Summerhill, a national firm focused on engaging the public on energy efficiency behaviours. Holding various positions, including President/Chief Transformer, U.S. expansion lead and Executive Director of the not-for-profit arm, Corey worked with utilities, government agencies and the private sector to drive significant energy savings across Canada.
