On June 27 and 28, MCA Saskatchewan was pleased to host the MCA Canada Regional Western Meetings in Saskatoon.
These yearly meetings provide an opportunity for the associations from the four western provinces to discuss topics that impact the industry not only in Western Canada but also nationally.
We were joined by MCA Canada President and Chair Wayne Davidson, as well as CEO Tania Johnston who provided a comprehensive update from our national association. The group also discussed climate change, education opportunities and price escalation issues.
The team wrapped up the day with a team building event at Wanuskewin Heritage Park where they learned about the life and culture of the Indigenous People who have inhabited these lands for thousands of years. The afternoon included a dance demonstration, guided tour, and finished with the team learning about and building a Tipi.
