As a result of this month’s annual general meeting, MCA Alberta is pleased to announce its Board of Directors for 2018–19.

As part of the CEC legal webinar series, Dan Leduc of Norton Rose Fulbright will present a free webinar to MCA Canada members on tender law. Since 2010, contractor legal rights regarding tenders have limited, yet the sense is that bid shopping and other unseemly experiences have not been reduced. This seminar will review what legal rights you, as a subcontractor, might still have.

An army of 6,000 construction workers is hard at work at a large site overlooking the conflux of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers in the south-western Chinese megacity of Chongqing. No landmark development in China is complete without a world record, and Raffles City Chongqing has the highest skybridge linking the most towers.
