The Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) is currently preparing a response to the Government of Canada’s consultation on the first-ever National Infrastructure Assessment. Infrastructure Canada’s engagement paper titled Building the Canada We Want in 2050.

The submission for this consultation process will be focused on how retrofits, support for the skilled trades, and regulatory harmonization must play a vital role in this long-term vision for the future of Canadian infrastructure.

We are asking for input from members on key elements that our submission should include. Please submit your feedback via this short survey.

Our wellness webinar, Four Pillars to Abundant Health, is just two days away. If you haven't already registered, act now!

Sponsored by the Women in Mechanical Construction initiative, the webinar will give simple strategies on how to nourish and support your mental and emotional health and will provide practical tools and guidelines to help you strike a healthy work-life balance.

The coronavirus pandemic is forcing us to re-evaluate so much of our lives and what is truly important to us. It is imperative that all of us focus on our own personal health and well-being. And contrary to how we might feel, we are NOT powerless. The more proactive we act individually and collectively the more empowered we become.

Tickets are $25 each, and proceeds from the webinar will go toward a new scholarship for a female apprentice.

Join us on June 24 from noon to 1 p.m. ET.
