The Applied Ergonomics Conference 2014 committee is presenting a free webinar to provide training on emerging issues and trends in ergonomics as well as preview the valuable ergo solutions that will be presented at the conference in Orlando, March 24-27, 2014.
The next webinar will be held Feb. 13, 2014, and will feature Peter Budnick, Ph.D., C.P.E., of ErgoWeb®, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of ergonomics. He will provide a reality check on the "sitting kills" debate in Will Sitting Kill Us? If So, What Can We Do? If Not, Why All the Hype? In addition to providing an overview of the evidence associated with the potential dangers of prolonged sitting, Budnick will also explore the impact this topic is already having on the way we work.
These webinars are an excellent opportunity to learn about valuable ergonomics solutions from leaders in the ergo industry while you preview what is in store for AEC 2014 at no cost. In addition to these informative topics, the 2014 schedule features in-depth pre-conference workshops, keynote speakers from NASA and the University of Buffalo, SUNY, and the world-renowned Ergo Cup® competition. Early-bird registration rates for the conference end Jan. 12, 2014.
