The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) has just launched the fifth course in its comprehensive Distribution Logistics Education Program. This new offering, titled Performance & Metrics, is tailored for logistics professionals focused on performance management and strategic decision-making in distribution facilities. The sixth and final course in this program will be released later this fall.

Big changes are coming for manufacturers and importers with the EPA’s latest rule under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), which aims to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). This rule requires companies that manufactured or imported PFAS or PFAS-containing products between 2011 and 2022 to submit comprehensive reports by January 11, 2026.

The Fed’s decision to cut interest rates by 0.5% brings some welcome news to the supply chain.
