Inbound Logistics—Virgin Hyperloop One will be opening a $500-million Advanced Technology Development and Testing Center in Spain in 2020. The plans call for a 19,000-square-meter center that will test and certify components and subsystems of hyperloop systems.

ATRI’s report uses data to study how breaking up the 10-hour rest requirement, such as dividing rest hours into 7/3, 6/4 or 5/5 splits, would be effective in helping drivers avoid bottlenecks.

CNBC—On January 1, 2020, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) will enforce new emissions standards designed to significantly curb pollution produced by the world's ships. Interestingly, analysts are predicting that this will result in a “resurgence” in the use of diesel fuel creating an oversupply of high-sulfur fuel oil.
