Auto Industriya—Called Brain-to-Vehicle (B2V), Nissan will be revealing a new mind-reading technology at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Asia 2019. It is a device worn by the driver that measures brain wave activity, which is then analyzed by the onboard autonomous system. The system then recognizes whether a driver is about to brake, swerve or perform any maneuver, and begin those actions by 0.2 to 0.5 seconds faster than the driver. According to Nissan, this system improves reaction time and even 'enhance manual driving.'
