Last year, REI opened a fully automated, LEED Platinum distribution center in Goodyear, AZ. The facility was designed to be one of the world’s most sustainable distribution centers. To encourage further innovation, REI is sharing the design information of this facility so others can advance the parameters of sustainable design. Toward that goal, they are holding two sessions at ProMat focused on this facility.

During the April 5 keynote, Scott Sopher, the principal with Deloitte Consulting LLP’s supply chain practice, will join MHI CEO George Prest and leaders from Walmart, UPS, Albertsons, U.S. Cellular, Upskill and the University of Tennessee to present the findings of the 2017 report detailing the nine innovations that are driving the change from traditional to digital supply chains.
