Summer Soiree Recap

On July 18th, MPISCC chapter members escaped from the city heat and gathered together for an unforgettable summer getaway in Malibu at the 2019 Summer Soiree.  From vineyard to beach, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy a curated VIP experience at Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club.  The perfect musical background was provided by Soulcirque, a DJ band that layers live drums, sax, and guitar, combined with tracks from popular music into entertaining and interactive sets.  Guests enjoyed a variety of delicious appetizers, specialty cocktails, local wines, and pizzas created before your eyes and slow-cooked in the authentic wood burning ovens. Guests were then invited to join the owners of the ranch, Kristi and Garner Gerson, on an expansive tour of the grounds, meeting & event space, and contemporary guest rooms and cabins. The privately owned Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club is the only luxury destination in Malibu that encompasses both a private 250 acre Ranch in the Malibu Wine Country as well as an exclusive beachfront Beach Club for its guests.  A wonderful time was had by all!  Our thanks go out to the Gerson Family for providing such an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.
