MPI So Cal Connect
Events

On September 18, 2019, local hospitality industry gathered together to ‘Experience Beauty’ at Beauty & Essex Hollywood!

Guest mingled and enjoyed delicious appetizers, globally inspired bites, specialty drinks, and signature dishes from Chef Chris Santos. Entertainment was provided by Crash Entertainment, Champagne Creative and Drawing Booth.

Located behind a working pawn shop, this is the third location of Beauty & Essex, and it occupies 10,000 square feet of space—perfect for groups of all sizes.

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, so MPI Southern California decided to join forces with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to help raise awareness and support AFSP’s mission, “a world without suicide.” The evening’s raffle sales of more than $600 were donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention LA & Central Coast.

Thank you to all of our members who attended and to the volunteers who made the evening possible.

Message From Our President:

Dear MPISCC Chapter Members,

I want to personally welcome and introduce to you Association & Conference Group (ACG), which has taken over our chapter management as of September 15, 2019.

ACG  is a woman-owned firm, incorporated in the Commonwealth of VA with staff based here in Southern California who will be serving MPISCC. Built on chapter management, ACG currently manages 10 chapters of global associations. The chapters are located in Southern California, the Carolinas, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York. Chapters require a unique skillset and attention to volunteers and committee activity. ACG thoroughly enjoys chapter work as it allows us to build very strong relationships with the leadership, membership and sponsors. ACG also understands professionals volunteer for three reasons: education, networking and philanthropy. ACG works with their clients to ensure members are able to achieve their goals in these areas.

The MPISCC Board of Directors is very excited about the opportunity to work with ACG as we know the infrastructure and experience that they bring will be the best for YOU, the members. Please say hello to them next time you attend one of our programs. They are looking forward to meeting you all!

Best-

Joe Martin
2019-2020 MPI Southern California Chapter President
