MPISCC Annual Fundraiser: Día de los Muertos

Join us Thursday, Oct. 27 for an MPISCC event to remember!  This year's annual Fundraiser will be held at the urban-chic Hotel Maya in Long Beach. The theme is Día de los Muertos, and the evening will feature a silent auction with fabulous items for you to bid on. Your generous contributions will help our growing chapter in providing education, networking and sponsorship opportunities to our members!

MPISCC Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month!
  
Hispanic Heritage Month was first officially recognized in 1968 by
President Lyndon B. Johnson as a week to celebrate Latinos before
being expanded to a full month under President Reagan in the late
1980s.
 
The celebration runs from Sept. 15 – Oct. 15. The “odd”
starting date of the 15th of the month is to commemorate the
independence anniversaries of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El
Salvador, and Honduras.
