Educate
As an industry we see thousands of events taking place every year, and within those meeting walls we have numerous attendee personalities represented. No two attendees are the same, so how can we, as meeting professionals, ensure we are doing our best to accommodate attendees who seem to be on the quieter side?
Understanding is key. For this month's Diversity Minute, our MPISCC Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Director, Khris Baizen is shining a light on introversion in the meetings industry.
Industry News
When it comes time to negotiate contracts, coming "off the page" is important to building and maintaining relationships.
Though event planners say they're busier post-COVID, survey results showed most respondents (49%) said they contracted 1-24 events. The other category options 25-49, 50-100, and 100+ all decreased by a small percentage.
