A terrific time was had by all who attended the Sizzling Summer Kick-Off event on June 1!

Venue partner The McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg made for a gorgeous, natural setting to celebrate the start of the warmer season together. Showcasing more than 7,000 works, ranging from Group of Seven masterpieces to Indigenous pieces, their displays cover all varieties of Canadian art from coast to coast.  Being able to visit the Conversations Gallery during the event was a particular treat, and we are so appreciative of Angela Poletto, Jessica, and the rest of the team for providing such a lovely setting.

Thank you to the City of Vaughan for being our Program Partner, as well as to The Food Dudes, who served up incredible edibles and delicious sips. Steelpan with Suzette, courtesy of our entertainment partner Carol Priest Entertainment, brought the summertime vibes and set the mood beautifully, as did the lovely flower arrangements courtesy of Flower Workshop. 

We also thank our Media Partner, Ignite Magazine, Registration Partner D.E. Systems, and Photography Partner Pinpoint Photography for your continued support.  Thanks to all of the partners who donated silent auction items!  Your support helps our Chapter be able to deliver value to our members and will go toward enhancing professional development and connection opportunities in the coming term.
