First Message as President

 

As I step into my role as President of the MPI Toronto Chapter in 2025, I’m thrilled to build on the momentum from my tenure as the longest-serving President-Elect during MPI Global’s fiscal year transition. Our October board retreat at Hotel X was a pivotal moment, where we set strategies for the year and focused on DEI and mental health training to guide our efforts toward an inclusive, supportive community.

My vision for the chapter is to ensure long-term success by streamlining operations, hosting dynamic events, celebrating volunteers, and establishing a strong succession plan. A key focus will be engaging students by partnering with universities to grow membership and cultivate the next generation of industry leaders.

DEI remains central to our mission as we align with committees to create meaningful impact. Together, we will foster a vibrant, diverse community that strengthens the event industry and inspires progress for years to come.
