Letter from the President | October Updates: Celebrating Success and Looking Ahead

Dear MPI Toronto Chapter Members,

As the leaves turn and we embrace the beauty of autumn, I’m excited to share some updates and celebrate the recent successes of our chapter.

First, I want to thank everyone who attended our recent DEI Lunch and Learn. The session sparked meaningful discussions around best practices, emphasizing the importance of DEI within our industry. Your participation contributed to a rich dialogue, and I encourage everyone to continue these important conversations as we strive to create a more inclusive environment for all members.

I am also thrilled to celebrate the success of the EVENT in Ottawa, which attracted almost 300 attendees! This gathering was a fantastic opportunity for networking and learning, showcasing the strength of our community. Thank you to everyone who participated and represented our chapter at this significant event.

Mark your calendars for our upcoming chapter events:

I know fall is a busy season for many of you, but we hope to see you at one of these exciting events. Your participation is what makes our chapter thrive!

Looking ahead, our incoming board is gearing up for 2025, and your input is invaluable. If you have ideas or initiatives you’d like to see the chapter pursue in the new year, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to raise your hand if you’re interested in getting involved.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community.
