Welcome New Members
Noteworthy
As someone who has been a part of this incredible community for over 20 years, I’m thrilled to address you as your President. The journey we've been on has been transformative, to say the least. Today, I want to talk about our current landscape and how we can forge ahead.
MPI Toronto is overseen by a group of member volunteers who ensure our Chapter is delivering the services that the local membership will benefit from. The Board is comprised of the President, President-Elect, Past President, Vice-Presidents, and Directors who help set the strategic direction. The volunteer committees are overseen by the various Chairs who ensure the operational success and coordination of activities. With this year’s change to a calendar financial year, the current Leadership team will serve until December 31, 2024.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
MPI Toronto acknowledges that the land its members live and work on is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and Wendat Peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and that our chapter membership falls across Ontario where there are 133 distinct First Nations.
Partner News
The Toronto Chapter is planning a few more in-person events in the coming months and seeking sponsorships and donations to support these initiatives.
Entertainment, an activation, a fun activity, a new product demo, or a donation for a silent auction.
Please contact office@mpitoronto.org or Chair of Strategic Partnership, Erinn Young.
