News You Can Use
For a student who is pursuing their dream of developing their skills for a successful career in the Meeting, Incentive, and Event industry, MPI offers a great opportunity to grow both professionally and personally while meeting industry professionals in a collaborative environment.
In the dynamic world of event planning, leadership plays a crucial role in driving innovation, fostering connections, and shaping the future of the industry. Meeting Planners International (MPI) has long been at the forefront of this evolution, with its chapters offering invaluable support and opportunities for growth.
Planning continues for our Chapter’s events, and we are excited to share our calendar and how you can get involved through Partnerships, Sponsorships, In-Kind, and Donations throughout the year.
The Events Industry Council (EIC) is offering scholarship assistance for those seeking to take their CMP, CMP-HC or for renewal for either certification.
Welcome New Members
Noteworthy
As the leaves turn and we embrace the beauty of autumn, I’m excited to share some updates and celebrate the recent successes of our chapter.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
MPI Toronto acknowledges that the land its members live and work on is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and Wendat Peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and that our chapter membership falls across Ontario where there are 133 distinct First Nations.
