Leadership, Development and Nomination Committee

In support of the three year Strategic Plan of the MPI Toronto Chapter, the Leadership, Development & Nominations (LD&N) Committee was established to recognize and develop chapter members to become future leaders of our chapter and industry. While one of the main roles of the committee is to lead the nomination and selection process of the Chapter’s Board of Directors, its fundamental role is to encourage and inspire members to be future leaders. The LD&N Committee is heavily involved in developing the future leaders of our Chapter by establishing leadership competencies, planning succession of future leaders, planning educational programs, providing information, and participating in leadership recruitment. Led by the Chapter’s Immediate Past President, the LD&N Committee is made up of several senior members of our chapter and past chapter leaders who are committed not only to the Chapter, but to MPI and the industry as a whole.

As the ninth largest MPI Chapter, with a membership of over 750 dedicated industry professionals, the MPI Toronto Chapter has achieved both national and international recognition in the meetings and events industries. With that, the MPI Toronto Chapter is constantly reaching new heights and expanding both the educational levels offered as well as creative programming for our members. And as such, our chapter has been able to achieve the success it has in large part through the dedication, commitment and effort of both the MPI Toronto Chapter Board of Directors and the Committee Portfolio Chairpersons.
