2012 Volunteer Opportunities

In an association made up of members who volunteer to sit on committees and work hard to service the needs of a membership that is now over 800 members, it is important to ensure that all volunteers feel that the time and effort they offer is highly valued. To do this properly, a more strategic approach to volunteerism was necessary.

Gaining an understanding of how each volunteer would like to spend their time, what they would like to share and/or learn, what their goals are and whether or not they are interested in considering moving to a leadership role will make it easier to meet and exceed the expectations of our Chapter.

Recognizing within ourselves how much time we have and how and where we would like to spend it will enable us to make a commitment to all members and will open up new volunteering possibilities.

Please submit your completed volunteer form to office@mpitoronto.org by June 15, 2011 to ensure a volunteer position for the 2011/2012 fiscal year. These forms will be reviewed and committee selections will be completed by June 30, 2011. You will be notified by that date regarding your volunteer position.
