Join us for a strategic meetings management professional development event on Wednesday, May 7 with two industry experts! Meet Kevin Iwamoto, Vice President of Industry Strategy, who guides the strategy for the industry marketplace within the Events Division of ACTIVE Network. He also works with key influencers across industries to raise awareness of the benefits of strategic meetings management. Iwamoto has been honored with every major business travel industry accolade, including most recently, the GBTA’s Industry Icon Award, the association’s highest honor, which recognizes contributions to managed travel that are so important as to elevate an individual to the status of an industry icon.

Also meet Keri Wendel. Kari has more than 20 years in strategic meetings, travel and sourcing. In her role as the Senior Director of SMM Strategy and Solutions, she is responsible for leading the team of strategic and operational leaders who identify and implement strategies for ongoing improvement of clients’ SMM programs. In conjunction with the CWT Solutions Group, she also leads CWT M&E’s consulting practice, which focuses on implementing and managing strategic meetings management (SMM) programs on behalf of clients.
