National Meetings Industry Day took place on April 10, 2014 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to cap off the Canada Meet Week.

It was a pleasure to have in attendance Cindy D'Aoust, COO of MPI Global, for the turnover of the Canadian Economic Impact Study from the MPI Foundation to the Business Events Industry Coalition of Canada (BEICC).

This year’s Influence Award was given to City of Toronto’s Councillor Krysten Wong-Tam for her influence in bringing the 2014 World Pride event to the City of Toronto.
