November 9 PD Attendees Learn to Captivate with Confidence

The Professional Development Session on November 9 was held at the beautiful, newly-renovated Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport. We welcomed Suzannah Baum, who delivered a presentation entitled "Captivate with Confidence:  How to Structure Your Presentations, Focus Your Message and Engage Your Audience."  Suzannah is a presentation skills specialist, executive speech coach and professional speaker. She helps entrepreneurs, business professionals and experts unleash their ultimate speaking potential. Suzannah also teaches both new and experienced speakers a unique, step-by-step process to create more structure, focused and engaging presentations, and to deliver them with confidence, clarity and power.

 

Her presentation was insightful, timely and included detailed steps for creating better presentations and proposals. We learned that the same process can be adopted when simply discussing an important job-related matter with another colleague, supervisor or board member. It’s all about structuring your message in a way that will yield you the best results possible.
