Global Meetings Industry Day 2019

The MPI Toronto Chapter had the great pleasure of celebrating GMID with over 180 attendees in Toronto on April 4. It was a jam-packed morning filled with insightful keynote presentations, featuring topics on accessibility, human trafficking and the education shaping the future of our industry. Following the keynotes, a captivating panel discussion took place discussing the recent changes in cannabis legislation and how this effects the meetings and events world. The program then transitioned into Connect Up, a peer-to-peer learning and networking program led by industry veterans to educate mentees on specific facets of the event industry.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without our volunteers, sponsors, speakers and, of course, attendees. The MPI Toronto Chapter looks forward to celebrating #GMID20 next year on April 2.
