Student Champion Program

The MPI Toronto Chapter Board of Directors has voted to bring back the Student Champion Program to assist student members in attending chapter events.

In the fall, we spoke to students at a number of colleges and universities on the value of membership with MPI. Although there are some students who have already joined MPI and attended events, it was clear that there are students who, although they see the value of coming to events and networking, do not have the funds to cover the registration fees.

The program will be launched with the February monthly meeting. Members will have the opportunity to add a student fee to their registration for student(s) to attend. Members will also be able to send in a donation to the chapter specifically to fund students to events.
