Take a Step Into the Future and Understand Our Today – Meeting Design and Social Media Training @ Vantage Venues
The way people interact has changed – a lot! This includes their interactions at meetings and events, as well as in the virtual world. Let’s take this opportunity to consider global research findings presented by Mark Cooper, CEO, IACC, looking at what our meeting surroundings are doing for us and what we might be missing, and assessing latest food and beverage trends with a panel of experienced chefs, along with a discussion on challenges planners are having in relation to allergens and dietary requirements. We will look at the meeting rooms, as well as any networking and social settings, to understand how to think differently and engage on a new level.
Then take a journey into the social media world with expert Cher Jones as she helps you discover "What's Hot? What's Not! Social Media Event Engagement Strategies that Work in 2018."

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre did an excellent job of hosting the September 20 Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Event. This was a chance for the attendees to strengthen their relationships with fellow colleagues and meet new people.
This was the first opportunity for the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to showcase their new space on Level Six of the South Building, and it was great to experience it with our attendees. Definitely a multi-use space to consider when planning your next event.
The AGM and Volunteer Recognition was also supported by Freeman Audio Visual Canada who provided the AV, staging and technician for the event. Two sponsors, D.E. Systems for online registration and The Image Commission for photography, support the chapter’s events throughout the year.
