IMEX America is the global conference for incentive travel, meetings and events. With powerful educational sessions tailored to attendee learning preferences, it’s an ideal opportunity to get the latest industry knowledge.
Their highlight video captures how resilient our industry is and how it's coming back together stronger than ever!
Some of our MPI Toronto chapter members attended for the first time. Zaman Ishaad, shares his experience highlights:
Receptions/Evening Events: SITE NITE: When I attended the 2019 SITE Young Leaders Conference, I bought a ticket to SITE NITE and decided to stay in my hotel room instead. This year, I decided to attend and had a blast! It was a great way to cap the conference with entertainment, a fun photo booth with confetti and concert.
MPI Rendezvous: It’s been too long since our industry has been together at a large trade show like IMEX. Everyone came to party! A great balance between networking and dancing, fellow attendees were able to enjoy the festivities and support the MPI Foundation. It was a memorable night for all!

The last PD session of the year was a resounding success.
Nausheen Saumtally, corporate speaker, trainer and coach and certified DISC behavioral analysis consultant, taught us about the four different personality types and how assessing and determining the personality type of yourself and those around you can help improve your interpersonal relationships by using specific tools and communication strategies when interacting.
Dr. Agnes Wainman, psychologist, speaker and author, shared with us how to assess and manage our expectations of ourselves and our experiences in order to persevere and enjoy our personal journeys.
The PD session was wrapped up by Nicole Manes, certified sound therapy practitioner and co-founder of Sound Response Wellness, who outlined the benefits of Sound-Based Stress Reduction and performed a virtual sound bath that is available interactively and as group workshops. This allowed the group to end the day feeling enlightened and stress-free.
Thank you to our event sponsors:

With the cold season upon us, if you’re anything like me then all you want to do is skip the gym or any form of physical movement to be snuggled up by a cozy fireplace with your favourite book. But then you feel guilty because you KNOW moving your body will not only help you concentrate better while working but is important for your health as well. Check out my new favourite app, MOVR — five-minute movements to help you stretch, take a tech break, shake off stress or even warm up before actually heading to the gym.
