Matisse: Masterworks from the Baltimore Museum of Art
Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA): Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until May 18 - The exhibition, Matisse: Masterworks from the Baltimore Museum of Art, is organized and circulated by The Baltimore Museum of Art. Spanning six decades of painter Henri Matisse’s prolific career, with an emphasis on the artist’s earliest works, this special exhibition features fifty works of painting and sculpture, thirty prints, and the artist’s book Jazz. A companion exhibition featuring works by Matisse in the MIA’s collection will further enrich this magnificent body of work.
