With it's host of experienced keynote speakers and intensive educational courses, it's easy to see why NAFA's Institute and Expo is a home run. But if you're looking for a way to unwind before the Expo begins on April 19, or if you're still on the fence about registering, why not think about heading down a few days early to take in a baseball game or two?
The Houston Astros will be hosting a three-game series at Minute Maid Park the weekend before I&E's first pitch. This series begins Friday, April 15 (6:10 pm first pitch), continues through Saturday, April 16 (7:10 pm first pitch), and concludes on Sunday, April 17 (1:10 pm first pitch). That same weekend, the Texas Rangers will host the Baltimore Orioles for a four-game set at Globe Life Park. This series begins Thursday, April 14 and continues through Sunday, April 17. The first three games of this series have a 7:05 pm first pitch, while first pitch for Sunday's game will be thrown at 2:05 pm.
So if you are attending NAFA's I&E, be sure to make a weekend of it and perhaps even network with colleagues before the conference begins. But if you haven't yet registered for the Expo, don't strike out! There's still time to sign up before the I&E begins. Be sure to get your name on the roster and learn how to take your fleet management skills to the big leagues!
