One of the highlights of NAFA’s annual conference each year is the
Chapter Recognition Luncheon. It’s a time to relax, network with
colleagues, and have fun with fellow fleet professionals within their
NAFA Chapter. It’s also a time in which NAFA highlights the work of one
NAFA Affiliate and one Member for their tremendous efforts in supporting
their local chapter. NAFA's Outstanding Chapter Service Award honors
exceptional commitment to the Association's chapters.
The winner of NAFA's Outstanding Chapter Service Award for Members is Jason Hicks, CAFM®, Fleet Manager for Turlock Water District; and a Member (and former Chapter Chair) of the NorCal Northern Nevada Chapter. NAFA Vice President for Canada Michael Cole and NorCal Northern Nevada Chapter Chair Jimm Vosburg, CAFM®, presented the award to him.
For the Affiliates, the winner for the 2016 Outstanding Chapter Service Award is Tony DiBrino, Pep Boys; and member of the Philadelphia Chapter. Tony was not able to join us until the evening so Philadelphia Chapter Chair Mike Freidel accepted the award on Tony's behalf.
