Only a week prior, Minnesota was in the grip of an early-spring snow event. But by the time NAFA rolled into town for the I&E, the snow had cleared and the first of many terrific events to network and engage with new technologies went off without a hitch.
Taking advantage of two opportunities to go to the GE Vehicle Innovation Center in Eden Prairie, registered attendees got to experience first-hand some of the bold vehicle innovations that are changing what and how we drive.
This event was co-sponsored by GE and the Twin Cities Clean Cities
Coalition. Two shifts, 1:30 and 3:30, took a brief ride from the Hyatt
Regency Minneapolis to the facility. What occurred was an educational
eye-opener for anyone considering alternative fuel vehicles for
themselves or their fleets.
With a track extending around the facility replicating curves, corners, inclines, and downhill runs, the architecture was perfect for showing attendees what can be done in an array of vehicle types, many of which drivers got to try out for the first time.
Thanks to all the vehicle providers and to the beautiful spring weather, the Alt Fuels Experience turned out to be a fantastic start to the I&E.
Local ABC TV affiliate KSTP was at the event as well. To get a glimpse of this event, check out their video by clicking here.
