On Wednesday morning, prior to the third annual OEM Fireside Chat and CAFM® graduates recognition, Paul Laskowski of Ferris State University was
awarded the NAFA Foundation's 2015 Willard DaSilva Student Scholarship.
The NAFA Foundation and its volunteer Board Directors provide needed financial and other resources for a host of Fleet Industry initiatives that develop educational content and programs and that promote the importance of the role of Fleet Professionals as well as their accomplishments. Each year, the NAFA Foundation, in conjunction with NAFA, also awards the Willard DaSilva Scholarship to a NAFA-affiliated college student.
The $3,000 scholarship was created to honor outstanding academic
achievements of an individual enrolled in the automotive or fleet
program of a NAFA partner university.
The Scholarship was named in honor of NAFA’s long-time legal counsel, Willard H. DaSilva.
