NAFA Vice Presidents Jeffrey Jeter and Joseph LaRosa announced 2016's Honorary Lifetime Membership Award honoree  during the fourth annual Fleet Excellence Awards at the Austin Convention Center.

The recipient of the 2016 Honorary Lifetime Membership Award, Tim Llewellyn, joined NAFA more than 20 years ago, first as Microsoft’s Fleet Manager, and later as Fleet Manager for the City of Kirkland.

"He is admired both as a fleet professional and a fine human being," LaRosa said. "At the City of Kirkland, he is the steadfast force behind their successful fleet operation – even through the City’s many changes."

Tim championed the use of CNG, Hybrids, and Electric Charging stations, while undertaking a major annexation, resulting in an expansion of the fleet during difficult economic times.

For NAFA, he served as the Puget Sound Chapter’s treasurer from almost the day he joined NAFA. And he continues to be instrumental to the continued success of the Chapter! Congratulations Tim on your well-deserved recognition! You are an inspiration to fleet professionals and fellow NAFA members!
