The I&E Experience
The clothes are packed, the registration is done, and the hotel room is booked...or are these things still on your to-do list? With NAFA’s 2018 Institute & Expo kicking off one week from today (Tuesday, April 24), you will want to take one last look at your checklist to make sure you have every detail in order.
NAFA will hold a unique panel of top automobile executives who will address significant technological changes within the industry. The presentation, How OEMs are Addressing Mobility and the Future of Fleet, will occur at NAFA’s annual I&E conference in Anaheim, Calif. This year, fleet professionals are invited to submit questions directly to NAFA for possible inclusion in the panel.
NAFA will feature author Jody Urquhart as keynote presenter for the Association's I&E. Urquhart’s presentation, This Would Be Funny If It Wasn’t Happening to Me! How to Navigate the Future With Enthusiasm and Vigor, promises to challenge attendees and shake them from their comfort zones.
Choi's presentation, How “Machine Learning” Will Lead the Future of Fleet Autonomy and Mobility, will guide attendees who are coming to grips with the vast advances taking place in fleet and mobility management. As the era of “Machine Learning Autonomy” rapidly evolves, the role of fleet management will be definitively impacted. Choi will discuss how Uber positions itself in this era. What does the approach of autonomy mean to the fleet industry and how can a safety-first emphasis be preserved?

Enhance your 2018 I&E experience by learning how to navigate the challenging needs of managing crises. Attend NAFA’s pre-conference event, Are You Really Ready? The Critical Role of Fleets Before, During, and Post-Disaster, taking place on Monday, April 23. With fires raging in California and Western Canada and hurricanes and torrential floods hitting the southern United States, the past year has been epic in generating lessons learned from fleet preparation through execution to post-event.
On Friday, April 27, at NAFA's Institute & Expo (I&E), join leaders from the Federal Highway Administration and the U.S. Department of Transportation for a discussion on the DOT’s “Connected Pilots” program and how it will change your fleets.

Winners will be announced at the I&E.
