The OEM "Fireside Chat" Panel Discussion returns for its second I&E appearance on Wednesday, April 9 in Ballroom A. Join colleagues and attendees as NAFA President Claude T. Masters, CAFM, moderates this insightful presentation. Last year's "Fireside Chat" was so well-received, the membership asked for it to return. This year's lineup features new and familiar faces alike, adding the perspectives of automakers that are coming off a banner year for the industry. This I&E presentation will link that success to how fleet impacts these manufacturers.

NAFA will be hosting an Opening Night Awards Party on Tuesday, April 8 after the education sessions end at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Fleet Excellence Awards (FLEXY) are true industry awards for the fleet management profession. Designed to celebrate fleet professionals in seven categories, the FLEXY recognizes the best and brightest in the field.

Safety involves every aspect of what a fleet manager does. It is the single aspect that, when things go wrong, they can go catastrophically wrong. That is why fleet managers insisted on a robust slate of safety-related sessions at the 2014 I&E. This track of education sessions are meant to inform, provoke, and spur you to action.

The CAFM Boot Camp sessions review the concepts in the curriculum with which most candidates have difficulty, based on test result analysis. CAFM and CAFS program participants can use this opportunity to reinforce their existing expertise and obtain assistance for concepts that might be problematic. The CAFM Boot Camp program covers the certification program's eight disciplines with a focus on exam preparation.

If you manage public safety fleets, you cannot afford to miss the session Effective Service Issue Resolution – Public Safety Group on Thursday, April 10. Take the opportunity to discuss all of your service issues directly with the Big 3 domestic manufacturers, Chrysler, Ford, and GM.
