Automotive Resources International (ARI) celebrated the grand opening of the company’s new global headquarters in Mount Laurel, N.J. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 23, in front of dozens of fleet customers from throughout the country. The impressive new facility (177,000 square feet, which will house approximately 700 employees) is located at 4001 Leadenhall Road – just across the street from NFL Films.
The ceremony began with remarks by Bill Kwelty, Senior Vice President and CIO at ARI, and was followed by presentations by Carl Ortell, President of ARI; Mindy Holman, President and CEO, Holman Automotive Group, Inc.; Kathleen Enos, ARI Partner of the Year, 2010; and Debra DiLorenzo, President & CEO, Chamber of Commerce – Southern N.J. Afterward, the ribbon was cut and ARI employees led groups of people through tours of the facility followed by a lunch buffet.
"The philosophy of hiring and training the best people became the cornerstone of our business," said Mindy Holman. "Under my Dad’s leadership, our business began to expand, but because we wanted to grow in a controlled fashion and not just for growth’s sake, Dad opted to direct the capital that we were creating into those businesses that had people ready and waiting to take on more responsibility. Those were the businesses that earned more investment.
"I think you can tell by the building behind me that we believe the employees of ARI absolutely merited more investment," continued Holman.
"The building houses the amenities that our employees deserve and it’s a facility designed to meet the needs of our global customer while impressing top business leaders when they come to call. The building is equipped with the technology and resources necessary to ensure that ARI remains number one in our industry in customer satisfaction. And, most importantly, it is the embodiment of our employees’ dedication to excellence and their aspirations for even greater success in the future." |
