NAFA Members Participate In Route Optimization Webinar

On December 2, NAFA held a very successful webinar on the topic of route optimization.  Nearly 80 fleet managers took part in the Q&A session proving the effectiveness and popularity of the online webinars.

Speakers for the webinar included Dr. Surya Sahoo, Ph.D., P.E., President & Chief Executive Officer for Institute of Information Technology (IIT) and Sumit Agarwal, Director-Marketing, Sales & Business Development at IIT.  

During the webinar the speakers pointed out how to use route optimization to save 10-30 percent in Fleet Operations costs, additional benefits of this sophisticated technology, and how it complements the more popular accompanying technologies like GPS Tracking/Automatic Vehicle Location, Scheduling/Dispatching, On-Board Computers, and In-Vehicle Navigation solutions.
