NAFA Member Peter Van de Water (1926-2010)

NAFA was saddened to learn of the passing of NAFA Member Peter Van de Water, who died on November 19, 2010. Peter was a Member of the Association for over 30 years and had been very involved within the Inter-County Chapter.
Van de Water worked for The New York Telephone Company for nearly 38 years holding a variety of positions including Fleet Manager, District Manager, and finally Director of Corporate Services at NYNEX - one of the new "Baby Bells" created by the breakup of AT&T, and later known as Verizon.
He retired in 2000 and began traveling around the world with his wife of more than 60 years. In 2004, they moved to San Antonio, Texas. NAFA expresses its condolences to Peter's wife, Betty, their children, and their grandchildren. |
