Chrysler Group LLC Increases Reimbursement For Adaptive Equipment

Chrysler Group LLC recently announced that it has increased to $1,000 the cash reimbursement it offers to help cover the cost of installing adaptive driver or passenger equipment on Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, and Ram Truck vehicles.

Chrysler Group's Automobility program was the first in the industry to help ease the financial burden of installing adaptive equipment, such as rear-door lifts for wheelchair loading, and hand controls for steering, braking, and accelerating.

Effective immediately, conversions to all eligible Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram Truck models qualify for a maximum reimbursement of $1,000, up from $750. Previously, only conversions to Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans were reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000.

The Automobility cash reimbursement is available in addition to other incentive programs in effect at the time of purchase or lease.

Chrysler Group announced the new cash reimbursement during the recent 20th annual National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association in Daytona Beach, FL.
