The Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy (DMME) and Virginia Clean Cities (VCC) are currently seeking proposals from fleets in the Southeastern U.S. that are interested in converting some or all of their eligible gasoline vehicles to run on propane autogas engine fuel. Fleets should have a minimum of 10 eligible vehicles to convert. This opportunity provides funding to cover the parts and labor for the vehicle conversions under the Southeast Propane Autogas Development Program. Both public and private fleets may participate in this Program.
Fleets in the following states are welcome to submit their proposals: Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi, and Washington, DC.
Interested fleets can download the documents below at http://www.usepropaneautogas.com/rfp/ and follow the directions to submit their proposals. Please review all of the documents. The application deadline is Friday, August 12, 2011.
